PRACTICAL INFORMATION

MASTER CLASS:

Organisation:
Teachers' recital at 8.30pm on 18 April.
Mornings: individual classes with each of the teachers.
Afternoons: private study, followed by group workshops.
Evenings: interpretation of Dufay's Ave Regina Caelorum.
A final recital will be given in the village church at 8.30 pm on Friday 23 April.
Number of participants: 15 (5 in each class).
Accommodation and meals: Accommodation is available in chalets overlooking the Lac du Causse for €95 a week. The chalets have individual bedrooms, bathroom, WC and kitchen. Participants may meet for lunch at the Relais Lissaçois restaurant.

SUMMER COURSE:

Course begins at 5pm on Saturday 31 July.
Course ends at 8pm on Sunday 8 August.
Number of participants: 20
Cost: €280 (reductions possible).
How to get to Saint-Bris:Saint-Bris-le-Vineux lies 10 kilometres south of Auxerre and can be reached by bicycle, on foot or on horseback via the GR13 footpath. Other means of access are by road via the A6 (Auxerre Sud or Nitry exits) or the N6 (Champs exit, second left after the Nicolas factory when travelling from Auxerre), by rail at Champs-St-Bris station (on the Paris-Morvan line via Laroche-Migennes), by air at the Auxerre-Branches aerodrome or by the Nivernais Canal (Bailly mooring).
Accommodation and meals: Dormitory accommodation is available in the Gîte Rural (bring your own sleeping bag). A limited number of rooms with bed and breakfast are available nearby. All the participants meet for lunch (€10 per person) and the Gîte Rural has a kitchen where evening meals can be prepared (shops in the village).

DANCE COURSE:

We will meet on the square in front of the Church from 10am on Thursday 21 May for the start of the course. The course ends Sunday 24 May, from 8pm.
Setting: The Church and Chateau of Saint-Bris-le-Vineux, in the Yonne department of France. The village, surrounded by vineyards, lies 10 kilometres south of Auxerre on the Way of Saint James, the pilgrims' route to Santiago de Compostela in Spain. Its large gothic church, Templars' house, timber-framed houses, cellars, 17th-century chateau, and narrow, winding streets provide a historic backdrop to the course.
Number of participants: a maximum of 12. The course is open to all: dancers, singers and musicians of all musical levels; adults and teenagers.
Price: €120. Reductions are available for students and for those with large families or on low incomes.

Meals: Lunch and dinner are shared at the Gîte Rural, where cooking facilities are available. Participants are asked to make and bring specialities from their home or adoptive region. Saint-Bris has a post office, grocery shop, delicatessen, bakery and chemist's.
